Whether it's your grandmother,

affected by breast cancer.

Circles of Care - Raising

more than dollars

The 2nd Annual Circles of Care campaign kicked off at
Core-Plus Federal Credit Union and ran for the month
of May.

The circles provide a public way for individuals to recognize and lend support to loved ones, friends, and family members who have battled with breast cancer. All funds raised were directed to the Backus Breast Cancer Survivors Fund.

Barbara Chiangi, a two - time breast cancer survivor, enjoys helping with the circles campaign."I love talking with the business owners who participate," said Barbara,"so many individuals have been touched by cancer, and there are so many inspiring stories here in our community." The circles campaign is an opportunity to help spread the survivors 'message of early detection, hope and inspiration. We are grateful to the businesses and organizations who participated in this year's Circles of Care campaign. Please support our Circles of Care businesses, knowing that they are helping to support a healthy community.

Honorees will be added to our online circle of care.

For more information, please contact Genevieve Schies in the Backus Foundation Office at 823-6331 or e-mail gschies@wwbh.org.

100% of the funds raised from the purchase of Backus Circles of Care will be used for the benefit of patients in our community.

When cancer hits home,

Backus will be there.
