Backus offers free skin cancer screenings at melanoma benefit

NORWICH - Howard Rogers, MD, a dermatologist on the Backus Medical Staff, will conduct a free skin cancer screening from 12-2 p.m. on the Backus Mobile Health Resource Center at Mallon Chevrolet in Uncasville at the annual Melanoma Benefit on Saturday, Aug. 2. The benefit will run from 12-5 p.m.

Join Kevin Hogan from Channel 3 News, Mohegan Sun driver Paul Athey, and Foxwood driver Mickey Smallridge for raffles and prizes, karate demonstrations, music, a magic show and face painting. Everyone is welcome.
