Backus event explores bipolar depression

NORWICH - The William W. Backus Hospital Department of Psychiatric Services will offer a community education event about bipolar depression on Sept. 24 from 3-4:30 p.m. in its entry level conference rooms 1 and 2.
Dr. John P. Docherty, Founder and Chairman, Chief Program Development Officer, Comprehensive Neuroscience, Inc., will present on the "Importance of Early Recognition and Appropriate Treatment of Bipolar Depression."
The free lecture, open to the public, will review the challenges in making a correct diagnosis; treatment options; and risk/benefits of various treatment choices.
